This part shall apply to persons using sources of radiation for wireline service operations including mineral logging, radioactive markers, and subsurface tracer studies as specified in Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), Part 39, "Licenses and Radiation Safety Requirements for Well Logging".
