Section Gal 503.18 - Duties in Regard to Publicly-Funded Cases

Unless an insufficient number of publicly-funded guardian ad litem appointments are made available in the courts or geographical areas in which a guardian ad litem has indicated on his or her application, renewal or recertification form that he or she is willing to serve, a guardian ad litem shall, if not otherwise prohibited from accepting the appointment under these rules, accept appointment to at least one publicly-funded case each calendar year.
