Section Fis 1104.01 - Special License for Persons Over 65 on Public Aid(a) An applicant for a special public aid fishing license who is aged 65 or older on the date of application shall complete and submit an "Application for Fishing License-Aged Persons" form, Rev 10/18, to the fish and game department at 11 Hazen Drive, Concord, NH 03301.(b) Every applicant shall also provide a copy of his or her current state issued motor vehicle driver license or state issued non-driver photo identification card which shall be used to determine if the applicant qualifies for status as a resident of New Hampshire pursuant to RSA 214:11-a.(c) Every applicant shall provide a copy of a determination letter showing the letterhead of a federal governmental entity, New Hampshire state agency, or local public entity that is providing aid to that applicant to document the type of aid that is being received.(d) The following types of income shall not qualify as public aid for the purpose of this license: (1) Payments from the Social Security Administration for post-retirement benefits or Part A, B, or D medicare services;(2) Retirement benefits from any public or private pension plan, including the NH retirement system;(3) Any public or private deferred compensation plan, simplified employee pension plan, insurance annuity, or individual retirement arrangement, whether in the form of benefits or payments from an annuity; or(4) Payments from the United States Department of Veterans Affairs.(e) The special public aid license shall expire on December 31 of the year of issue.N.H.
