Section Env-Ws 364.01 - Purpose(a) The purpose of this part is to regulate, control, and prevent the contamination of public drinking water by the backflow of water or other liquids, gases, mixtures, or other substances into the water distribution system of a public water system from a source or sources other than the approved source(s) of water.(b) This part is not intended to interfere with the progress of existing effective cross-connection control programs, but rather to strengthen them and encourage uniformity across the state.N.H.
