Section Env-Wr 403.07 - Concrete Design Criteria(a) Because the design of concrete structures is documented in many competent texts, the designer may use any text, combination of texts or related computer software applications.(b) The department shall use one or more of the following texts in evaluating the competence of the submitted design:(1) "Building Code Requirements for Structural Concrete & Commentary," ACI 318-05, American Concrete Institute, 2005, available as noted in Appendix B;(2) "Design of Small Dams" by US Department of Interior, Bureau of Reclamation, third Edition, 1987, available as noted in Appendix B; or(3) "National Engineering Handbook, Section 6, Structural Design", USDA NRCS, 1980, available as noted in Appendix B.N.H.
