Section Env-Wq 2101.07 - Leak Detection and Repair

(a) The owner of a conservation system shall implement a leak detection program in accordance with "Manual of Water Supply Practices, Water Audits and Loss Control Programs", document identification number AWWA M36, American Water Works Association, 2009 (2009 AWWA M36 Manual), available as noted in Appendix A.

(b) The owner shall:

(1) Repair all leaks within 60 days of discovery; or

(2) Propose an alternative timeframe to the department in writing within 30 days of discovery.
