Section Env-Wq 1602.02 - Agronomic rate"Agronomic rate" means the septage application rate that is designed to:
(a) Provide the amount of nitrogen or other nutrient(s) needed by the agricultural crop or vegetation sufficient to prevent erosion;(b) Minimize the amount of nitrogen or phosphorus that passes below the root zone of the agricultural crop or the vegetation to the groundwater or runs off to the surface water; and(c) Increase the percent of organic matter in the top 6 inches of soil sufficient to establish a perennial vegetative cover.N.H.
