Section Env-Wq 1304.05 - Marking of Restricted Use Areas by Municipalities(a) Any municipality with a method of marking restricted use areas within municipal surface water supplies that is similar to the method described in Env-Wq 1304.03 and Env-Wq 1304.04 may request the department to approve the use of the method in lieu of Env-Wq 1304.03 and Env-Wq 1304.04, by submitting a request in writing to the department.(b) The request shall describe the municipality's method of marking restricted use areas and identify the area(s) to which it is to be applied.(c) The department shall authorize the municipality to mark municipal surface water supplies using the municipality's method if the municipality's method is equivalent to or more stringent than the method identified in Env-Wq 1304.03 and Env-Wq 1304.04.N.H.
