Section Env-Wq 1116.01 - Purpose The purpose of this part is to accommodate situations where:
(a) Strict compliance with the requirements in this chapter would result in a design or method of operation that is not in the best interests of public health or the environment; or(b) An alternative method or material is available that would provide at least the same degree of protection to public health and the environment as the method or material specified.N.H.
