Section Env-Wq 1109.02 - Materials and Methods of Construction(a) Materials of construction for swimming pools shall comply with the following: (1) The material shall be smooth, non-toxic, and impervious, finished concrete or concrete block, steel, or fiberglass;(2) The pool bottom shall have a non-slip finish;(3) Plastic liners may be used in conjunction with any of the materials in (1), above; and(4) Asphalt, "black-top," and similar materials shall not be permitted.(b) The pool bottom shall have a light-colored finish.(c) Each component of a swimming pool, including all components of the circulation system, shall be installed in accordance with its manufacturer's specifications.N.H.
