Section Env-Dw 717.01 - Purpose and Scope(a) The purpose of these rules is to implement 40 CFR 141.400- 405, known as the "Federal Ground Water Rule" or Subpart S of 40 CFR 141, by establishing procedures and standards for the protection of public health from groundwater contamination through source monitoring, treatment, and treatment monitoring.(b) As specified in 40 CFR 141.400(a), the requirements of this part constitute National Primary Drinking Water Regulations.N.H.
