Section Env-Dw 710.05 - Radionuclide Monitoring Requirements for New Systems or Sources(a) The O/O of a new CWS or an existing CWS using a new source of supply shall collect and analyze: (1) One sample for radon prior to using water from the new source; and(2) Quarterly samples for compliance gross alpha, combined radium-226 and radium-228, and uranium as specified in the schedule established pursuant to Env-Dw 708.(b) Initial monitoring shall: (1) Begin within the first quarter that the new system or source first provides water to the system; and(2) Be performed in accordance with Env-Dw 710.06.(c) The O/O of a new non-transient, non-community water system or an existing non-transient, non-community water system using a new source of supply shall collect and analyze one sample for compliance gross alpha, combined radium-226 and radium-228, and uranium prior to using water from the new source.N.H.
