Section Env-Dw 506.05 - Specific Procedures(a) The start-up procedures required by Env-Dw 506.04(a)(1) shall include the following: (1) Inspecting all components of the distribution system including sanitary protective area(s), well(s), source meter(s), pump house(s), pump(s), treatment facilities, storage facilities, valves, blow-offs, hydrants, backflow prevention devices, if any, and sampling taps;(2) Disinfecting and flushing all distribution lines; and(3) Correcting any current or previously-noted sanitary defects.(b) The owner may include additional steps in the start-up procedures, such as sampling.N.H.
