Section Env-Dw 503.14 - Required Action After Mechanical Breakdown or Other Failure(a) If the water system experiences a mechanical failure, water main break, or power failure or experiences a degradation of the water quality in the distribution system, the owner shall initiate one or more of the following actions, as appropriate to the situation: (4) Public notice to consumers as specified in Env-Dw 503.02(d).(b) The action(s) taken shall be determined by the system owner and primary certified operator after a careful analysis of the event.N.H.
