Section Env-Dw 101.01 - Purpose The purpose of the rules in subtitle Env-Dw, and of such rules in Env-Ws 300 as remain until moved to subtitle Env-Dw is to:
(a) Protect public health by establishing the requirements applicable to public water systems as defined in RSA 485:1-a, XV; and(b) Ensure that the public water system program implemented by the department is at least as stringent as that established by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) under the federal Safe Drinking Water Act and regulations adopted pursuant thereto .N.H.
