Section Env-A 620.06 - Public Notice and Comment During the Reestablishment of a General State PermitThe department shall provide public notice and a public comment period for the reestablishment of a general state permit for a particular source category in accordance with the following provisions:
(a) Within 7 months prior to the end of the 5-year general state permit period, the department shall publish a public notice of intent to reestablish the general state permit;(b) The public notice shall be published in a newspaper of general daily statewide circulation; and(c) The public notice shall contain the following information: (1) A statement of the department's intent to reestablish the general state permit and a brief description of the general state permit;(2) The location(s) where, and hours during which, the draft general state permit and a list of the sources currently covered by the general state permit, including source location, may be examined;(3) A statement specifying that any person who wishes to request a public hearing regarding the reestablishment of the general state permit, shall do so within 30 days of publication of the public notice;(4) An explanation of how to request such a hearing; and(5) The deadline by which and the address to which written comments or requests for a public hearing shall be sent, the date to be no sooner than 30 days after publication of the notice.N.H.
