Section Env-A 4601.01 - Purpose

The purpose of this chapter is to establish the New Hampshire CO₂ Budget Trading Program in accordance with RSA 125-O:21-29. The program is designed to stabilize and then reduce anthropogenic emissions of CO₂, a greenhouse gas, from CO₂ budget sources in the state in an economically efficient manner.
