Section Env-A 103.34 - Fumes"Fumes" mean very small particles, often metals or metallic oxides, resulting from chemical reactions or from the condensation of vapors produced in combustion, distillation, or sublimation, which may have a compositions that differs from that of the parent material from which the fumes originate.
