Section Env-A 103.24 - Ferrous foundry"Ferrous foundry" means a source used for melting or refining ferrous metals such as iron that is constructed of numerous parts, including but not limited to furnaces, checkers, flues, stacks, tuyeres, fans, blowers, tapping spouts, charging equipment, gas cleaning devices, and other auxiliaries. The term includes all types of foundry furnaces, including but not limited to cupola, rotary, reverberatory, electric, air, open hearth, and crucible.
