Section Env-A 102.32 - British Thermal Unit (BTU)

"British Thermal Unit (BTU)" means the quantity of heat required to raise the temperature of one pound of water at or near 39.2 degrees Fahrenheit (°F) by one °F. A BTU equals 251.98 calories.
