Section Elec 405.02 - Types of Disciplinary Action
(a) A reprimand shall be a formal written letter sent to the licensee by the board through the OPLC.
(b) Limitation of certification shall require the licensee to report, on a monthly basis, the locations of their jobs in NH and a list of employees, if any, with their license or apprentice or high/medium voltage trainee ID numbers who are working on those jobs. The monthly report shall be submitted whether or not the licensee had jobs in NH during the reporting period.
(c) Restriction of certification shall include one of the following:
(1) The downgrading of a license from a master to a journeyman for a licensee upon a determination that misconduct has occurred;
(2) The downgrading of a license from a journeyman to an apprentice for a licensee upon a determination that misconduct has occurred; or
(3) The downgrading of a license from a high/medium voltage electrician to a high/medium voltage trainee for a licensee upon a determination that misconduct has occurred.
(d) Suspension of certification shall be a temporary loss of license.
(e) Revocation of certification shall be a permanent loss of license unless the individual applies for initial licensure and complies with Elec 402.03.
(f) A program of continuing education shall be required when there is lack of knowledge in a specific area.
