Section Ed 704.02 - Admission to Testing
(a) The applicant for GED testing shall be 18 years old or qualify under (d) below.
(b) All applicants shall submit the GED testing Program Form B-21 to the testing center of the applicant's choice.
(c) Each applicant shall:
(1) Be physically residing in New Hampshire; or
(2) Have a legal residence within the state.
(d) An applicant under 18 years of age wishing to take the GED tests shall receive permission from the superintendent of schools of the school or designee of the school district in which he or she resides or qualify under (e) below.
(e) In order to receive permission to take the GED test an applicant shall under the age of 18:
(1) Be at least 16 years of age;
(2) Demonstrate that he or she has passed GED Official Practice Tests with scores equal to or above the minimum required for passing the GED tests; and
(3) Have withdrawn from school or be a member of a GED Option program administered by the New Hampshire department of education.
(f) Home schooled students age 16 or 17 may register to take GED tests if a participating agent as defined in Ed 315.02 overseeing the student's home school program attests, that the student has completed the home schooling program pursuant to RSA 193:1,I(f)(2), and that the student has passed GED Official Practice Tests.
