Section Ed 1107.02 - Evaluation Requirements for Children with Specific Learning Disabilities(a) For purposes of evaluating whether a child has a specific learning disability, one or more of the following criteria shall be used: (1) A discrepancy model between intellectual skills and achievements;(2) A process that determines if the child responds to scientific, research-based intervention as part of the evaluation procedures described in 34 CFR 300.307(a)(2); and(3) Other alternative research-based procedures as described in 34 CFR 300.307(a)(3).(b) Each LEA shall adopt a policy describing the evaluation procedures and standards that will be used to evaluate whether a child has a specific learning disability.N.H.
