Section Den 401.03 - Qualified Dental Assistants' Duties

Any dental assistant, who has qualified pursuant to Den 302.06, shall perform the following duties under direct supervision as defined in Den 101.11:

(a) Dental radiography;

(b) Pit and fissure sealants;

(c) Orthodontic duties;

(d) Fabrication of provisional crown and bridge restorations;

(e) Coronal polishing;

(f) Preliminary oral inspection;

(g) Monitor nitrous oxide administration; and

(h) In-office tooth whitening.
