Section 706.534 - Drivers: Failure to possess valid permit1. Any person who is found by the Administrator to be operating a taxicab without having in his or her possession a valid driver's permit is in violation of NAC 706.513.2. A taxicab, found by the Administrator to be operated by a driver or independent contractor without a valid driver's permit, may be taken out of service until put back in service by a driver or independent contractor who has a valid permit.3. Any driver or independent contractor in possession of an altered or defaced permit will not be considered to be in possession of a valid driver's permit.4. Any driver or independent contractor who is found by the Administrator to have committed any violation of an applicable law or regulation while his or her permit is expired, is subject to hearing and appropriate disciplinary action.Nev.
