Section 704.766 - Operating permit required

Any person who intends to sell energy from geothermal resources to the public must obtain an operating permit from the Commission before:

1. Commencing the construction of any facility for that purpose except a geothermal well; or

2. Engaging in the sale of geothermal energy.
