Section 702.300 - Certain entities and persons not required to pay universal energy charge1. The United States or an agency or instrumentality of the United States is not required to pay the universal energy charge.2. An Indian tribe, Indian band or group of Indians that is recognized by the United States as possessing a government-to-government relationship with the United States is not required to pay the universal energy charge.3. An enrolled member of an Indian tribe, Indian band or group of Indians that is recognized by the United States as possessing a government-to-government relationship with the United States is not required to pay the universal energy charge on any therm of natural gas or kilowatt-hour of electricity that is delivered to and consumed on the reserved lands of that Indian tribe, Indian band or group of Indians.Nev.
