Section 695C.090 - "Uncovered expenditures" defined

"Uncovered expenditures" means the cost of those services, including services provided during an emergency, rendered by a provider and paid for by an organization during its operation for which:

1. There is no agreement between the provider and organization to release the enrollee from liability for the cost of those services; and

2. The enrollee may be liable for payment should the organization become insolvent.
