Section 683A.280 - DefinitionsAs used in NAC 683A.280 to 683A.295, inclusive:
1. "Agent who performs utilization review" has the meaning ascribed to it in NRS 683A.376.2. "Insured" has the meaning ascribed to it in NRS 683A.376.3. "Insurer" includes: (a) An authorized insurer;(b) A fraternal benefit society that is certified pursuant to chapter 695A of NRS;(c) A nonprofit corporation for hospital, medical or dental services that is certified pursuant to chapter 695B of NRS;(d) A health maintenance organization that is certified pursuant to chapter 695C of NRS; and(e) An organization for dental care that is certified pursuant to chapter 695D of NRS.4.
