Section 679B.413 - Filing of answer to contest complaint or order to show cause1. A party who desires to contest a complaint or order to show cause may file an answer.2. An answer must: (b) Be filed within 20 days after receipt of service of the complaint or order to show cause, unless otherwise ordered by the hearing officer;(c) Specifically admit or deny each material allegation in the complaint or order to show cause; and(d) State any new matter constituting a defense. Matters alleged by way of an affirmative defense must be separately stated and numbered.3. If an amendment or correction to a pleading is filed:(a) Before the filing of an answer, the time within which to answer must be computed from the date of service of the amendment or correction, unless otherwise ordered by the hearing officer.(b) After the filing of an answer, another answer need not be filed.4. The failure to file an answer or to raise a jurisdictional defect does not waive the right to raise a jurisdictional defect at any time.Nev. Admin. Code § 679B.413
