Section 679B.590 - "Control" defined

"Control" means the direct or indirect ability to influence the management and policies of a person, whether through ownership of voting securities or a contract. The term does not include influence resulting from an official position or corporate office held by the person or from a commercial contract for goods or nonmanagement services.
