Section 656.340 - Fairness and impartiality; avoidance of impropriety; impairment of performance1. A court reporter shall:(a) Perform the practice of court reporting in a fair and impartial manner.(b) Take steps to avoid the appearance of impropriety in a proceeding.2. A court reporter shall not provide service as a court reporter if he or she is:(a) Under the influence of an intoxicating liquor, controlled substance or other drug that affects the ability of the court reporter to transcribe the proceeding accurately and truthfully.(b) Suffering from an illness or other impairment that prevents him or her from performing competently.Nev.
