Section 648.275 - Qualifications of applicants: Credit for certain educational degreesThe Board will grant credit toward the experience required pursuant to subsection 2 of NRS 648.110 to an applicant for a private investigator's or private patrol officer's license as follows:
1. For receipt of an associate's degree in police science or criminal justice from an accredited community college, the Board will grant 8 months of credit.2. For receipt of a bachelor's degree in police science or criminal justice from an accredited college or university, the Board will grant 1 1/2 years of credit.Nev. Admin. Code § 648.275
