Section 645F.485 - Confidentiality of certain records and information1. Except as otherwise provided in subsection 2, the Commissioner may classify as confidential certain records and information obtained by the Commissioner when those matters are obtained from a governmental agency upon the express condition that they remain confidential. This subsection does not limit examination by: (a) The Legislative Auditor; and(b) The Department of Taxation, if necessary, to carry out the provisions of chapter 363A of NRS and sections 2 to 61, inclusive, of Senate Bill No. 483, chapter 487, Statutes of Nevada 2015, at page 2878 (chapter 363C of NRS).2. Except as limited by agreement with the governmental agency that provided the records and information, the Commissioner may release the information and records to the Office of the Attorney General with respect to its criminal and civil divisions, any district attorney or any other local, state or federal law enforcement organization. Nothing contained in this subsection prevents the Commissioner from redacting social security numbers and personal, nonpublic information from any documents.Nev. Admin. Code § 645F.485
