Section 645B.230 - Provision to Division of financial statement for investors1. A mortgage company may submit to the Division a financial statement to be provided to a private investor pursuant to subsection 3 of NRS 645B.185 that: (a) Is dated not earlier than the last day of the most recently completed fiscal year; and(b) Has been prepared from the books and records of the mortgage company by an independent public accountant who holds a permit to engage in the practice of public accounting in this State that has not been revoked or suspended.2. A financial statement submitted to the Division by a mortgage company pursuant to this section: (a) Must contain a notation indicating that it is a financial statement to be provided to private investors pursuant to subsection 3 of NRS 645B.185.(b) Need not be audited, but the provisions of this section do not affect any obligation of the mortgage company to submit an audited financial statement to the Division pursuant to subsection 3 of NRS 645B.085.Nev.
