Section 645.448 - Specific requirements for renewal of license other than initial license and for reinstatement of license1. Except as otherwise provided in subsection 3 and NAC 645.449, if a real estate salesperson wishes to renew his or her license or reinstate his or her license pursuant to NAC 645.4441 and the real estate salesperson is required to complete continuing education pursuant to that section, the real estate salesperson must:(a) Successfully complete at least 36 hours of continuing education, which must include: (1) Agency relationships, 3 hours.(5) Risk reduction, 3 hours.(6) Any designated areas of continuing education approved by the Division for the remaining 18 hours of instruction.(b) Provide the Division with proof of completion of the continuing education requirements set forth in paragraph (a) before the end of each 2-year license renewal period.2. Except as otherwise provided in subsection 3 and NAC 645.449, if a real estate broker or real estate broker-salesperson wishes to renew his or her license or reinstate his or her license pursuant to NAC 645.4441 and the real estate broker or real estate broker-salesperson is required to complete continuing education pursuant to that section, the real estate broker or real estate broker-salesperson must: (a) Successfully complete at least 36 hours of continuing education, which must include: (1) Agency relationships, 3 hours.(5) Broker management, 6 hours.(6) Risk reduction, 3 hours.(7) Any designated areas of continuing education approved by the Division for the remaining 12 hours of instruction.(b) Provide the Division with proof of completion of the continuing education requirements set forth in paragraph (a) before the end of each 2-year license renewal period.3. The requirements for continuing education set forth in this section do not apply to the renewal of a license upon the expiration of the initial license.4. At least 50 percent of the total hours of required continuing education set forth in this section must be taken through live instruction. Nev. Admin. Code § 645.448
