Section 640.510 - Verification of compliance with requirements
1. Each physical therapist and physical therapist assistant must certify completion of the continuing competence units required pursuant to NAC 640.400 in his or her application for the renewal of his or her license.
2. A licensed physical therapist or physical therapist assistant shall retain a certificate of completion issued to him or her pursuant to NAC 640.420 or other documentation, approved by the Board, of his or her completion of an approved course or activity for continuing competence for 1 year after completion of the course or activity. A copy of the certificate or other documentation must be submitted to the Board to verify the completion of the approved course or activity upon the renewal of his or her license by the Board.
3. The Board will conduct random audits of physical therapists and physical therapist assistants who have renewed their licenses to ensure compliance with the requirements of this section and NAC 640.400.
