Section 639.712 - Transcribing prescription transmitted by oral order1. A pharmacist who transcribes a prescription transmitted by an oral order of a practitioner or the practitioner's agent shall sign or initial the prescription and specify on the prescription:(a) The date the prescription was orally transmitted to the pharmacy; and(b) The name of the person who orally transmitted the prescription.2.
