Section 639.858 - Authorization to write prescription in form of chart order or physician's order

If an advanced practitioner of nursing is authorized by a correctional institution, hospital or any other licensed medical facility, he or she may write a prescription in the form of a chart order or physician's order at the correctional institution, hospital or licensed medical facility.
