Section 639.898 - Security and storage of controlled substances and drugs
1. All controlled substances and dangerous drugs which are in the possession of an advanced practitioner of nursing must be kept in a locked storage area. Access to the storage area must be restricted to the persons described in NRS 453.375.
2. Advanced practitioners of nursing working intermittently at satellite facilities must transport the drugs, poisons and devices on each trip to and from those locations unless authorized by the Board to store them at those locations.
3. Biologicals and other drugs must be refrigerated if that requirement is stated on the manufacturer's label.
