Section 637B.430 - Waiver or deferral of requirements1. The Board may waive all or part of the requirements for continuing education for a licensee who holds a standard license or provisional license if the licensee: (a) Submits a written request for a waiver; and (b) Provides proof satisfactory to the Board of an extenuating circumstance that does not allow the completion of the required continuing education.2. If a waiver is granted pursuant to this section, the unfulfilled requirements for continuing education will be added to the requirements for continuing education for the licensee for the following year.3. If a waiver is not granted pursuant to this section, the Board may grant additional time for the licensee to fulfill any required continuing education that he or she has not completed. 4. As used in this section, "extenuating circumstance" includes, without limitation: (a) Extreme illness or injury;(b) Extreme financial or familial hardship; or Nev. Admin. Code § 637B.430
