Section 634A.340 - Captions, amendments and construction of pleadings1. Pleadings before the Board must be styled applications, petitions, complaints and answers.2. All pleadings, except complaints brought on the Board's own motion, must be verified.3. The Board may, when substantial rights of the parties are not violated thereby, allow any pleading to be amended or corrected or any omission therein to be supplied.4. All pleadings will be liberally construed to effect justice between the parties, and the Board or the presiding officer will, at every stage of any proceeding, disregard errors or defects in the pleadings or proceedings which do not affect the substantial rights of the parties.Nev.
