Section 624.005 - "Employee" defined1. As used in this chapter, unless the context otherwise requires, "employee" means a natural person in the service of an employer under any appointment or contract of hire or apprenticeship, express or implied, oral or written, at-will or other, whether lawfully or unlawfully employed.2.
