Section 610.615 - "Affirmative action" defined1. "Affirmative action" means positive procedures, methods and programs for the identification, recruitment, training and motivation of minority persons and women for apprentices, including the establishment of goals and timetables. Its purpose is to equalize opportunity in apprenticeship to allow full use of the potential of women and minority persons to work.2. The result to be sought in adopting a program of affirmative action is equal opportunity in apprenticeship for all persons participating in, or seeking entrance into, the labor force.Nev. Admin.
