Section 587.236 - "Variety" defined"Variety" means a subdivision of a kind which is distinct, uniform and stable. As used in this section:
1. "Distinct" means that the variety can be differentiated by one or more identifiable morphological, physiological or other characteristics from all other known varieties.2. "Uniform" means that variations in essential and distinctive characteristics may be described.3. "Stable" means that the variety remains unchanged to a reasonable degree of reliability in its essential and distinctive characteristics and its uniformity if reproduced or reconstituted as required by the different categories of varieties.Nev.
