Section 585.180 - "Strength" defined"Strength" means:
1. The concentration of each active ingredient of the drug; or2. The potency of each active ingredient of the drug, which is the therapeutic activity of the ingredient as indicated by appropriate laboratory tests or by adequately developed and controlled clinical data (expressed, for example, in terms of units by reference to a standard).Nev.
