Section 538.300 - Hearings: Rehearings1. Within 20 days after the Commission renders a decision or order following a hearing, the aggrieved party may apply for a rehearing, setting forth the grounds for the petition.2. The Commission will act upon such a petition within 30 days after the effective date of the order or decision upon which the rehearing is requested, but if the Commission does not take action on the petition within that time, the petition shall be deemed denied.3. The Commission or presiding officer on his own motion may order a rehearing within 30 days after the rendering of the decision if a mistake, fraud or a misconception of facts led to the original decision.4. The filing of a petition for a rehearing upon an order or decision does not excuse compliance with it or suspend its effectiveness unless otherwise ordered by the Commission.Nev. Admin.
