Section 538.358 - "Operating year" defined

"Operating year" means a 12-month period that coincides with the 12-month period designated by federal law as a fiscal year. Until changed by federal law, the term means the period that commences October 1 of each year, immediately following midnight of September 30 of that year, and ends at midnight of September 30 of the following year.
