Section 534.194 - "Sodium bentonite" defined"Sodium bentonite" means a colloidal clay that:
1. Consists primarily of the weathered volcanic clay mineral montmorillonite where sodium is the predominant, exchangeable cation;2. Has the ability to swell; and3. Is easily hydrated when mixed with fresh water to form bentonite drilling fluids or bentonite grout.Nev. Admin. Code § 534.194
