Section 504.520 - Approval of Department required to alter stream system or watershed to detriment of wildlife habitat; application for approval1. Except with the written consent of the Department as provided in subsection 2, a person shall not substantially:(a) Obstruct, damage, diminish, destroy, change, modify or vary the natural shape and form of a stream system or its banks by any type of construction or other activity that is detrimental to the wildlife habitat. Such activity includes channelization, thermal pollution and diversion.(b) Destroy, change, modify or vary the natural shape, form or vegetational cover of any watershed by any type of construction or other activity that is detrimental to the wildlife habitat. Such activity includes reseeding, chaining, removing brush and burning.2. An applicant must submit an application to the Department for approval before commencing planned construction or other activity under subsection 1. The application must include detailed plans and specifications of the portions of the project that may affect the wildlife habitat.Nev. Admin. Code § 504.520
